Open role
Project Coordinator
Run the operational nervous system of every Cortado engagement: meetings, artifacts, status, delivery workflows, with AI as your primary tool. Sit in every room from kickoff to close.
The role
What you'll actually be doing
You run the operational nervous system of a Cortado engagement, end to end, with AI as your primary tool. Every engagement we deliver has a spine of logistics, notes, artifacts, and follow-through that used to eat half of an engagement manager's week. You take that week back. You automate the predictable parts, you orchestrate AI to handle the rest, and you make the partner-level work more leveraged than it has ever been.
You will see every engagement we run, from the inside, from kickoff to close. You will be in the room when partners are making real calls for real clients. Early.
Day to day
What you will do
- Stand up and run engagements: kickoffs, cadences, working sessions, client check-ins, close-outs.
- Sit in every meeting, capture it with AI, and ship clean, structured outputs before anyone asks.
- Turn the repeating parts of our delivery process into AI-driven workflows so they stop being manual work.
- Own Box, trackers, and status artifacts so our senior team never has to reach for them.
- Work with our offshore partners and subject matter experts as an operator, not a middleman.
Fit
Who we are looking for
- You are comfortable being uncomfortable. You want to be in over your head because that is where you learn fastest.
- You are already using AI daily. Claude, ChatGPT, whatever you prefer. You are past the "play with it on weekends" phase.
- You notice when something is done twice and you build a way to stop doing it.
- You are organized and reliable in a way that does not require anyone reminding you.
- You are not asking for hand-holding. You want the coaching, not the crutch.
- Zero to three years of experience. Recent grads welcome. Evidence beats credentials.
Trajectory
What you will learn
How a modern consultancy actually runs. How senior operators make judgment calls in front of C-suite clients. How to turn a process into a product. How to point AI at real work and trust the output. Our alumni who started in roles like this are now running teams of their own. The pattern is real, and the reason it works is that you are not watching from the back of the room. You are in it.
The bigger picture
Why Cortado
We're an AI-fueled consultancy run by ex-C-suite operators. Our partners have spent careers figuring out what good looks like, and that judgment is encoded into how we work: playbooks, workflows, and AI tools pointed at real client engagements where the decisions move real money.
You will be in rooms with partners who have run companies. You will be in front of C-suite clients whose decisions move millions. You will be making calls faster than you feel ready to make them. This happens early, and it happens on purpose.
The people who thrive here chase being uncomfortable. That is the sensation of actually growing. Our alumni who started where you're starting are now running teams of their own.
On AI
We expect you already use it.
We'll help you use AI in ways you never considered, and help you rethink your profession through AI that takes away the drudgery and puts the focus back on creativity.
Honesty
What this role is not
Not a political seat. Execution is the coin of the realm here. That is a gift if you're good and a problem if you're not, and there is nowhere to hide either way.
Not a craftsman's workshop. If your reflex is to build your own version of everything and never share it, this will make you miserable. If your reflex is to build once, build it well, and make sure it comes home so the next person moves faster, welcome.
You're about to enter the room you want to be the least experienced person in.
If you like learning, you will be baptised by fire in a real-world education unlike any other.
You may leave Cortado, but your experience at Cortado will never leave you.
